I think some extended tim...Enjoy your momcation!! I think some extended time apart from our kids is really good for the parent/child relationship. It allows us as parents, as you said, to take off that mom hat and truly relax and not feel guilty. To not rush around during those brief moments we do normally get because we have limited time. It allows us to recharge our batteries, to reflect, to even plan. And for our children, it allows them time to grow and develop away from us. Eventually, they will not be living with us, so this gives them a chance to begin to develop some independence. I'm always amazed at how mature my son seems when he comes home from an extended period away from home. So enjoy!! Drink your coffee slowly, enjoy the sound of the birds, and not constantly picking up after the little ones. <br /><br />(PS - I usually spend the first day frantically cleaning the house, just so I can enjoy how clean it is as long as I can.. something people without children probably could never understand)StoneEffecthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16317624007740814881noreply@blogger.com
